ASABE Presents 2023 AE50 Winners

St Joseph, Mich--The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers has announced the winners of the 2023 AE50 awards.

ASABE's AE50 awards honor innovation in product development for agricultural, food, and biological systems. This year, 26 different companies received awards, some earning recognition for multiple products.

The top ten winners, as determined by the blue-ribbon panel of international experts judging the entries, are now eligible for the prestigious Davidson Prize, presented jointly with the Association of Equipment Manufacturers.

"The AE50 winners are always impressive and this year’s group does not disappoint," says ASABE Executive Director Darrin Drollinger. "I was especially struck by the diversity in technology and innovations that included an exciting mix of equipment, hardware, software and breakthrough applications."

Companies picking up three or more AE50 awards include Deere, Precision Planting, and RealmFive.

A list of all winning products can be found online, and profiles of each are included in upcoming January/February issue of Resource magazine. The awards will be presented formally at the 2023 Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference, in Fresno, California.

AE50 awards were established in 1984. It is the only awards program of its kind. Entries are evaluated by a blue-ribbon, international panel of industry experts in technology, design, and product development. Contact Sarah Rodriguez at ASABE for information about the nomination process.

ASABE is an international scientific and educational organization dedicated to the advancement of engineering applicable to agricultural, food, and biological systems.
