The ASABE P-128 Engineering Ethics Competition Committee invites ASABE students and young professionals to participate in the Professional Engineering Ethics Video Challenge.

The Challenge
In a video of five minutes or less, describe an ethical issue(s) faced by agricultural and biological engineers in practice or research. The top three sections will be invited to attend the Annual International Meeting (AIM), where winning videos will be presented at the ethics session sponsored by EOPD-412 Professional Ethics Committee, as case studies for discussion of ethical scenarios.

Videos may be created by individuals or teams. Potential themes include ethical issue(s) involving engineering design, manufacturing, practice, management, research, etc. Present the issue(s) in an engaging manner that promotes group discussion. Resolution of the issue(s) does not need to be identified within the video itself. However, at the end of the video, relevant source material used in development of the case should be cited and sources for discussion may be suggested.

EOPD-412 will use the winning videos to introduce ethical scenarios at its session at the AIM, for which ASABE members can receive professional development hours for participating.

Awards
Cash prize, Complimentary AIM Registration, Plaque
Three winners will be selected to receive prize money of $500, $300, and $200 for 1st through 3rd placements. The top three placements will also each receive one complimentary registration to attend the upcoming AIM. A plaque will be presented to the first place winner.

The top three placements will be announced during the AIM Student Awards Breakfast.
