Landscape irrigation standards

X626, Uniformity Test for Landscape Irrigation Systems (formerly Auditing Landscape Irrigation Systems)

The ASABE has begun work to establish a uniformity test for landscape irrigation systems.  The working committee had a second meeting in the summer of 2013.  The draft is approximately 80% complete.

Per ASABE's ANSI-accredited standardization procedures, input from voting and non-voting members, as well as the general public, shall be addressed during the balloting process.  If you wish to provide input on the project, please contact Travis Tsunemori with ASABE.

X627 committee meets with regular conference calls

The committee working on X627, Environmentally Responsive Landscape Irrigation Control Systems, meets monthly via teleconference.  The draft is approximately 85% complete.

Public comments open for Landscape Water Use Standard

As specified in our earlier press release (http://t.co/6Jf3dQOi), ASABE has begun work to establish standardized tools to estimate landscape water use.  This project, as will all ASABE standards projects, will be done in accordance with our ANSI-accredited standardization procedures (available here).

The draft is out for public review.  You can download a zip file with the draft and public comment form here:  /PC1X623.  The full committee will be meeting next on November 5, 2013 in Austin, TX to address the comments from the public review.  For more information on this committee, please contact Travis Tsunemori.
