    Encompasses analysis, design, and construction of agricultural structures, imposed loads on structures, and materials of construction.

    Encompasses analysis, design, and construction of handling and storage facilities for bulk materials.

  • SE-30 Environmental Quality & Control Group

    Encompasses environment within structures for animal housing, plant production, and commodities storage; environmental air quality; climatic and meteorological data for engineering design; and solar energy technology related to agriculture.

  • SE-301 Environmental Physiology

    Promotes sharing and review of research information to increase understanding of the physiological responses of plants and animals to their environment.

  • SE-302 Environment of Animal Structures

    Addresses design and management of environmental control systems for animal production facilities.

  • SE-303 Environment of Plant Structures

    Promotes the design of controlled environments for the production of plants and fungi (mushrooms). Design greenhouse structures, plant growth chambers, and other facilities for research and production of growing plant material.

    Addresses environmental air quality within plant and animal housing systems.

  • SE-40 Facilities & Systems Group

    Addresses systems for human and animal housing, agricultural waste management, and animal care.

  • SE-402 Beef Facilities

    Addresses structures and environmental applications in Beef facilities.

  • SE-403 Dairy Housing

    Addresses structures and environmental applications in Dairy housing.

  • SE-404 Swine Housing

    Addresses issues related to swine housing, manure management and environmental control strategies for improved production efficiency and enhanced animal well-being.

    Addresses issues related to poultry housing including environmental control strategies for improved production efficiency and enhanced animal well-being.

  • SE-412 Agric. Byproduct & Animal Mortality Mgmt Systems

    Concerned with environmentally acceptable management and utilization of manure and other animal wastesby-products from agricultural production units and related animal operations.

    Addresses issues of power generation from solar, wind, hydro, fuel cells, hydrogen, biomass, and other renewable resources.
