Engineering & Technology for a
Sustainable World
JULY 1997 VOL. 4 NO. 7
Features
CE Mark: The Manufacturer's Passport to Europe
Exporting agricultural equipment to Europe can be tricky for producers who must
meet strict design guidelines. A new directive aims to make the process easier
for manufacturers and designers to compete in the global marketplace.
Last Word (reader opinion) Engineering Education: A Global Issue
Universities around the work are struggling with the fact that most countries
cannot afford to fund the mass higher education systems they have encouraged
into existence. These schools should look for new ways to approach delivering
services to increase enrollments.
