FEATURES

For Undergrads: A Food and Bioprocess Engineering Vision ... 5
Opportunities abound for the job-hunting food and bioprocess engineer and prospecting undergrad. With eyes to the future, an astute group of co-authors Keener, Irudayaraj, Ngadi, Rosenstrater, and Payne cover the technical and interpersonal skills needed in today's market. Three prominent trends in the food and bioprocessing field quality and safety, nutrition and health, and the environment are explored as well.

The McCormick Tractor Story ... 9
The McCormick saga is a remarkable story of a brand reborn -- from being one of the first equipment inventors to actually advertise to the eventful re-entering of the U.S. market just a few years ago. With a growing product line and a dealer network committed to future success, there promises to be more interesting chapters to the tale as the future unfolds and McCormick USA strives and thrives into the years ahead.

Polymer Injection Machine ... 11
"The M-216 promises greener turf, less water use, and reduced irrigation costs," says Jill Huenink. What more would you ask for? This unique machine injects a liquid cross-linked polymer solution into established turf which holds high levels of moisture and nutrients in the root zone and reduces soil compaction as well. Golf courses, sports fields, and landscaped areas have never had it so good.
