Locating Publications Not Included in the
ASABE Online Technical Library

Searching the ASABE online Technical Library is the best way to find current ASABE technical publications. Journal articles from 1995 forward and all technical documents from 2001 forward are included on the site. Clicking on the Table of Contents button on the site is also an option for locating a specific document or complete publication.

There are several ways to locate older publications not included in the online Library.

Through 1997 ASABE published an annual print index of all publications published each year. The index was organized by keywords. Indexes can be purchased from ASABE for a specific year or in hardbound compilations. Many libraries have copies of the ASABE indexes.

You’ll find older conference proceedings, monographs and textbooks described in the online Publications Catalog along with recent titles. Many of these are available only in print format. The catalog provides descriptions, ordering information and prices. ASABE also has an online agricultural equipment history book catalog featuring books from this popular ASABE series.

A downloadable database for PCs with over 28,000 citations of articles published by ASABE and other publishers is available from the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department at the University of California-Davis. This database is complied and maintained by the UC-Davis staff.

The National Agricultural Library indexes many of the ASABE publications in their online database.
