The ASABE Online Technical Library

The full-text of all ASABE publications from 2001 forward including journal articles, standards, annual meeting papers, conference proceedings and other books can be accessed by ASABE members and those affiliated with institutions who have signed a site license agreement. Anyone can search and view the abstracts on the Technical Library site. Print versions of the documents can be ordered from ASABE.

ASABE journals from 1995 forward are also included on the site thanks to donations from the ASABE Foundation’s Electronic Publishing Legacy Material Fund. More back issues will be added as funds allow. For information on finding publications published prior to the content included on the site click here.

Information for ASABE Members

Please note that the online Technical Library is hosted at a different location than the ASABE home page. When you find a document you would like to access and click on the title to view the HTML or the download PDF link, you will be prompted for your login codes—(your member number and birth date.) Once you have successfully signed on, you won’t need to enter your password again for 24 hours. This login process is separate from your login for the ASABE home page. If you do not get the login prompt, but are able to access the full-text directly, your institution has signed an agreement with ASABE providing access for all staff and students.

ASABE members can sign up at the site for periodic e-mail notification when documents of interest to them have been added to the online Library. After clicking on the E-Alert button on the Library home page, members select keywords of interest. Every month or two after a significant amount of content has been added to the site, an e-mail message with links to documents matching those keywords will be sent.
