Annual Meeting Papers
About Annual Meeting Papers
Full-length papers for many of the presentations at the ASABE Annual
International Meeting are available in individual reprint format.
Full sets of the papers are available in CD-ROM and unbound paper
reprint format. Full-text of the papers from 2001 forward are also
included in the ASABE’s online Technical Library. ASABE members
and those affiliated with institutions with signed license agreements
have access to the full-text.
Meeting papers are not peer-reviewed. Reprints are duplicated from
author-supplied copy. Approximately 65% of the over 1,000 presentations
at each meeting are submitted to ASABE by the author for distribution.

Preparing and Submitting Your Paper
After you submit a proposal to present at an ASABE Annual International
Meeting you will receive e-mail notification (usually in late December
or January) regarding the session chair’s decision. If your
proposal is accepted, you will be advised of the deadlines for submitting
your written paper along with other details. The submission deadline
to have your paper included in the on-line Technical Library
is normally around mid-April to allow time for processing. Papers
submitted after the deadline will be included in the online collection
along with the others. E-mail an electronic file (ideally in the
MSWord template below) to Sandy Rutter at rutter@asabe.org or mail
a CD-ROM or floppy disk to her attention at ASABE, 2950 Niles Rd.,
St. Joseph, MI 49085.
You are encouraged to use the MSWord template below to prepare
your paper. This will simplify formatting your paper and provide
the electronic file needed to include the paper in the ASABE online
Technical Library. At a minimum, the cover sheet must be used.
