Journal of Agricultural Safety and Health
Purpose and Scope:
This journal focuses on the unique needs and concerns of safety and health as
it relates to agriculture. The Journal of Agricultural Safety and Health (JASH)
emphasizes a strong, interdisciplinary focus from such areas as engineering,
occupational safety, social psychology, public policy, education, industrial
hygiene, and public health. JASH provides a solid base to bridge the issues and
concerns related to agricultural safety and health. JASH offers scholarly,
peer-reviewed articles, abstracts of relevant articles from other journals, a
listing of other safety and health information resources, a section listing
upcoming safety and health conferences, meetings, government agency activities,
and announcements. Topic areas include treatment and prevention of trauma and
illness, engineering design and application, safety and health intervention
strategies, health standards, legislation and regulation, professional
development issues, and the role, impact, and development of agricultural
safety.
Intended Readership:
Engineers and others interested in agricultural safety and health including
those involved in occupational safety, public policy, industrial hygiene,
public health, education, health-care, and social psychology rely on the
Journal of Agricultural Safety and Health to keep them updated on the latest
developments related to improving the safety and health of those involved in
