Conference Papers

About Conference Papers

ASABE sponsors several specialty conferences each year. The papers from these conferences are usually included in a printed proceedings distributed at the conference. The printed proceedings are available for sale after the conference. You’ll find descriptions and prices in the online Publications Catalog. Electronic versions of the papers are also included in the online Technical Library. Click on the Table of Contents button to view a list of proceedings titles and links to the individual papers.

Preparing and Submitting Your Conference Paper

You will receive specific instructions regarding deadlines and procedures from the volunteer proceedings chair for the conference. Papers are normally submitted to the chair well in advance of the conference date to allow time for organizing, printing and shipping to the conference. If you have questions, but do not have contact information for the proceedings chair for your conference, contact Sandy Rutter on the ASABE staff at rutter@asabe.org.

Presenters are asked to prepare their paper using an MSWord template. The proceedings chair may e-mail you the template or direct you to a Web site. This template facilitates preparation of the online version and also assures a standard appearance in the printed proceedings. You’ll find a link to the general conference template below as well as information on using the template.
