ASABE President Don Erbach (left) and Past President Charles Sukup (right) presented President William Clinton with a proclamation on behalf of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, honoring efforts of two Clinton-led initiatives to promote sustainable agriculture and economic development.
Speaking at the Centennial meeting of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, President William Clinton identified three issues in which ASABE members will be critically involved in the next decades: climate change, population growth, and resource depletion. Clinton called the challenges of the next fifty years "an engineer's dream."
