AE50 Award Winners Announced by ASABE's Resource Magazine

Date: Tuesday, January 10, 2017

Resource magazine and the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers have announced the winners of the 2017 AE50 Awards.

The winning products featured represent the diversity of agricultural and biological engineering, as well as the variety of companies—of all sizes and specializations—that continue to bring advanced technology to the marketplace.

"The AE50 winners truly reflect creative innovations," says Joe Walker, Resource publisher. "These products reduce consumption of precious resources such as water and fuel, reduce pollution and waste, improve product quality, and, at the same time, increase efficiency and safety. See the future of vision systems, sensors, and complex design capabilities on display."

A comprehensive list and descriptions of all 2017 AE50 Award winners can be found in this month's issue of Resource magazine. The winners were announced online and will be honored Tuesday, February 14, at the 2017 Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference, in Louisville, Kentucky.

AE50 awards have been encouraging and applauding engineering achievements since the program was established in 1984. It is the only awards program of its kind. Entries are evaluated by a blue-ribbon, international panel of industry experts in technology, design, and product development. Contact Sandy Rutter at ASABE for information about the nomination process.

Resource magazine is published by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, an international scientific and educational organization dedicated to the advancement of engineering applicable to agricultural, food, and biological systems.
