Campus Tour

Starting from the Art Museum, we will visit some of the most important Research Centers of the University including the Biotechnology Center (BIOTEC), the Center for Oceanographic Research (COPAS), the Center for Environmental Research (EULA) and the Transportable Integrated Geodesic Observatory (TIGO)

The BIOTEC Center is responsible to manage and develop research and innovation projects in the biotechnology field to improve the industrial sector.

The COPAS Center is devoted to advanced basic scientific research on the circulation, biogeochemical cycling, ecology and paleoceanography of the Eastern South Pacific Ocean.

EULA is an interdisciplinary academic unit of the University focused on research, teaching, extension and technical assistance on environmental sciences.

The Geodesic Observatory laboratory (TIGO) contributes to the development and actualization of the global geodesic reference systems around the world.
