Call for Workshop

Conference participants are invited to submit proposals for workshops. The purpose of these workshops is to provide a platform for presenting novel ideas of high interest to the community. Workshops address focused issues on topics related to information and computer technologies in agriculture, natural resources and the environment. Topics for workshops may range from the application of tools and techniques to economic, social and environmental issues.

The format of each workshop is to be determined by the organizers, but it is expected that they contain ample time for general discussion. The preference is for one-day or half-day workshops, but other schedules will also be considered.

Please send proposals no later than September 30th, to Dr. Ali Saleh, at saleh@tiaer.tarleton.edu

Proposals must include:

• Title
• Organizers (Including contact information)
• Goals
• Workshop Description (Including Planned Activities)
• Maximum number of participants
• Preferred dates between the 27nd and 29th of March 2008 and duration.
