The entire meeting will be held at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. The Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center, the largest and most conveniently located meeting facility at an airport between Atlanta and Washington D.C.

There will be a $100 per person surcharge for those not staying at the convention hotel in order to offset meeting space rental. For more information see June 2003 or July 2003 Resource magazine.

Using the blocked room space at conference and meeting hotels reduces the overall cost of the meeting. Meeting space rental is predicated upon the number of sleeping rooms occupied per night at the conference rate. Additionally, future meetings are impacted by previous years' figures. The more of our block we use, the better the rate and space offerings available in the future.

In order to receive the highly discounted convention rate, please tell the reservation clerk that you are attending the American Society of Agricultural Engineers meeting. Your credit card will confirm your room and rate and will be charged at the time of request. Saturday arrivals are allowed.

In order to obtain the discount room rate, reservations must be made no later than September 18, 2003. After this time rooms will cost $220 per night.

A first night's room and tax deposit is due with each reservation. Deposits may be made by check or charged to an accepted credit card. Should a reservation be canceled, deposits are refundable if notice is received at least 48 hours prior to arrival. Cancellations received after this time are non-refundable.
