Forage Harvester

"Background:
In 1989, ASAE commemorated the invention of the first commercially successful pickup forage harvester. Two plaques were cast, to recognize work on the harvester in Wisconsin and in Quebec. In 2004, the original Quebec plaque could not be located. The CSAE developed, constructed and displayed a bilingual replacement plaque that emphasizes the contributions to forage harvester development by William Conroy of Aylmer, Quebec. The following photographs were taken at the 2 August, 2004 dedication of the replacement plaque."
