"Grand Detour, IL is 6 miles northeast of Dixon, IL., a total of 8 miles off Interstate 88. It is about 100 miles west of Chicago. The Deere site is marked by a good sign on Illinois Route 2. Grand Detour doesn't appear in the index to cities and villages on the Illinois highway map, but is marked with a circle on the map."
